DOVE Coalition - Out of the success of the Pursuing the Dream Conference, We Are All Brooklyn conducted a series of trainings for community leaders on the issue of immigrant women and domestic violence. This process, driven by We Are All Brooklyn, allowed for government agencies engaged in domestic violence issues to link with community and faith-based organizations serving immigrant communities. In 2006 We Are All Brooklyn joined with Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in fostering the DOVE Coalition. This coalition grew out of the Pursuing the Dream conference and focused on training clergy on best practices for handling domestic violence. The DOVE Coalition plans soon to publish an online Domestic Violence Resource Guide for Clergy.
